Domain Settings

Use the Domain Settings in your Windows Control Panel to keep notes or manage control panel logins.

Updated over a week ago

The Domain Settings panel group within the Windows Control Panel is used to manage general settings pertaining to your domain.

The Domains Settings panel appears at the top of your Windows Control Panel.

Domain Notes

The Domain Notes feature is used to store helpful notes about your domain. These notes are only visible within the control panel itself.

After clicking the Domain Notes feature, a modal window appears.

Notes

The Notes tab is used to store notes pertaining to your domain that are visible to all control panel users.

Reseller Notes

Notes entered under the Reseller tab, however, are only visible to the primary account holder. This feature is useful if you wish to add notes pertaining to the domain that are not visible to your client.

Control Panel Logins

The Control Panel Logins feature allows you to create login credentials for additional users. This is useful when you wish to allow other members of your team, such as a developer, access to your domain control panel. When creating additional control panel users, you are also provided with the ability to control which features of the control panel are accessible to specific control panel users.

It is important to note that, unlike your primary control panel login that is tied to your billing control panel, Windows Control Panel logins are specific to the domain under which they were created and cannot be used to access other domains under your account. They also cannot be used to access your billing control panel. If you would like to provide access to your billing control panel as well, please refer to the "User Management" article in the Billing Control Panel category for more information.

After clicking the Control Panel Logins feature, a modal window appears that supplies the functionality required to manage users.
